A registered architect since 2004, George brings exceptional experience, dedication, and professionalism to any project. George’s experience spans across design and construction, over a wide range of building types and project delivery models. As a valuable team leader, his capabilities range from production to project management and contract administration.
His commitment to client service and collaborative attitude was the key to the success of many of Moriyama and Teshima projects. He was the lead Design Architect to the award-winning Nova Scotia Community College New Metro Campus Phase 1 (2005); Design Architect in the Kuwait University Master Plan (2006); Project Manager for the long-anticipated Wynford Drive Ismaili Centre Project (2014), a $250 million spiritual and cultural complex in Toronto, in collaboration with the renowned Indian Modernist Architect Charles Correa.
George came to Canada in 1988 from China as a recipient of a Government of Alberta scholarship. Studying, working, and travelling in between, he graduated from the University of Toronto’s School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture in 1998. He worked at a number of Toronto firms until joining Moriyama and Teshima in 2003.
