MTA Partner Carol Phillips will be speaking at the upcoming Wood Solutions Conference in Edmonton, Alberta, on Tuesday, December 3rd!
Carol will be speaking on Limberlost Place, our mass timber project designed with Acton Ostry Architects that is currently under construction at George Brown College, during a presentation entitled: “Limberlost Place: Inspiring Change at Toronto’s Waterfront”. As the city’s first tall wood, low carbon, institutional building, Limberlost Place brings a unique deep green element to the urban campus site, featuring ecological innovation across its entire life cycle. Upon completion in 2025, this 10-storey state-of-the-art facility will feature radiant ceilings, under floor air delivery and breathing rooms with solar chimney systems for sustainable, natural light, and ventilation.
