Congratulations to everyone involved in the 2023 TimberFever Design Build competition held at Toronto Metropolitan University! Architectural Science and Civil Engineering students participated in this unique competition in September, where they were challenged to design and construct a small structure made with timber. This fantastic exercise, led annually by Moses Structural Engineers, fosters hands-on learning, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and creative thinking.

Industry leaders provided mentorship throughout the 3-day event and evaluated the final results. Architect Mahsa Majidian represented MTA as a judge and was impressed by the hard work of the competitors and the unique breadth of designs produced.
