Olivia Keung Presenting on Sustainable Building Design

MTA Associate Olivia Keung is heading to Hamilton tomorrow to take part in a panel discussion on sustainable building design, led by the City of Hamilton. This event is part of the lead-up for Hamilton’s Urban Design and Architecture Awards, for which they are building a theme of sustainable design.

Olivia will be joined by Eladia Smoke of Smoke Architecture (an Indigenous-led firm with whom we are collaborating on the design of Mukwa Waakaa’igan Indigenous Centre of Cultural Excellence at Algoma University), Tony Cupido of Mohawk College, and Joanne McCallum of mcCallum Sather Architects. The conversation will touch on current best practices and will highlight opportunities to encourage and incentivize sustainable building design in Hamilton. This talk will take place at the Auditorium (Room 2032) in McMaster University’s David Braley Health Sciences Centre, located at 100 Main Street West in Hamilton, at 6:00PM.
