Practising architecture since 1995, Jason has participated in a full range of projects from small scale residential to large-scale commercial, cultural complexes and urban planning. His comprehensive skills as Project Architect have included: proposal writing, schematic design, presentations, design development, costing, supervision and production of working drawings, consultant coordination, project and site management and even hands-on construction experience.
Since joining Moriyama & Teshima Architects in 2006, Jason has acted as Project Designer and Project Architect on numerous domestic and international projects. He thrives in a team environment and enjoys the collaborative process. He is a natural leader with the unique ability to inspire and motivate those around him.
In 2009 and 2010, Jason represented the firm as Project Architect on site in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia for the Comprehensive Master Plan of the Holy Cities of Makkah and Madinah as well as AlMashaer (holy sites where millions of pilgrims perform annual Hajj). At the end of this assignment, Jason was appointed Associate.
Currently, Jason has been managing teams designing large-scale academic and museum projects in Qatar, Dubai as well as in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
