Shawn has ensured exceptionally precise construction of complex building forms as Contract Administrator over his nearly twenty years with Moriyama Teshima Architects. Some of the projects in which he has applied his expertise include the Aga Khan Museum and the Ismaili Centre in Toronto – two multi-million dollar spiritual and cultural landmarks. Shawn also coordinated contract documents for the Canadian War Museum in Ottawa, and for landmark academic buildings for the University of Ottawa and the University of Toronto.
As Contract Administrator and Job Captain, Shawn Geddes’ proactive organizational abilities, comprehensive knowledge of building technologies, and relentless tenacity have been critical to the production of well-coordinated contract documents. In collaboration with the Construction Manager, Shawn consistently fulfils stringent cost, schedule, and quality requirements throughout multi-phase fast-track construction processes. Shawn’s recent accomplishments include the new Canon Canada Headquarters in Brampton, and the Government of Canada Visitor Welcome Centre on Parliament Hill in Ottawa.
