Government of Canada Visitor Welcome Centre

The new Government of Canada Visitor Welcome Centre (VWC) is the first major addition on Parliament Hill in 75 years. As the first point of entry to the Parliamentary Precinct, the entrance welcomes 350,000 visitors annually to the area with a bright and expansive reception. Complete with secure public entry and designed to LEED Gold standards, the centre is a minimalist presence in the existing landscape that creates new connections and enhances circulation between the existing buildings.
