Carol Cochrane joined MTA after leading her own practice in Singapore and Malaysia for 15 years, where she managed a diverse portfolio of projects, from expansive master planning to meticulous interior retrofits. Throughout her career, Carol has been deeply involved in every phase of development, from the initial conceptualization to the completion of construction. Her extensive international experience has nurtured a profound respect and sensitivity towards diverse cultures, which she leverages to deepen her understanding of each project’s unique context.
Sustainability is a core passion for Carol. Before joining MTA, she was pivoting her practice towards more ecologically responsible projects, integrating sustainable solutions—both active and passive—into her designs wherever possible. Carol is now serving as Project Manager on one of the firm’s leading mass timber projects.
