Laura (Xin) Wang joined Moriyama Teshima Architects in 2021 as an Intern Architect. She has contributed toward a variety of projects including the University of Waterloo New Math Building and Mukwa Waakaa’igan Indigenous Centre of Cultural Excellence at Algoma University – from RFP submissions, Schematic Design, to Design Development. With a particular interest in the embodied carbon in buildings, Laura has also been actively involved in the research of low carbon construction materials and wall assemblies. Prior to joining MTA, Laura graduated from the University of Toronto with an Honours Bachelor of Arts in 2017, and then again with Master of Architecture in 2021. Her previous work experience was in residential and commercial architecture.
