Maria Pavlou is an Architectural Technologist at Moriyama Teshima Architects, having joined the firm in 2015. Maria specializes in creating and reviewing contract documents, ensuring well-read and well-coordinated drawing sets for our projects. Her focus on technical details is an asset, making complex designs constructible and implementing BIM standards to all building types.
Projects that Maria has worked on during her time with MTA include the University of Guelph Honey Bee Research Centre, Place des Arts in Sudbury, the West Memorial Building Rehabilitation in Ottawa, Nova Scotia College of Art and Design (NSCAD) Port Campus project, and Limberlost Place in Toronto.
A graduate of George Brown College’s Construction Technology program, Maria’s technical skill-set and knowledge base has proved invaluable across a wide range of projects. Outside of work, she has taken on mentorship roles with students of her alma mater, with particular emphasis on supporting emerging female leaders in the AEC industry.
