Carol Phillips, MTA Partner, is speaking on a panel of sustainability experts during a Preconference Zoom Session for the 2023 Canadian Science Policy Centre Conference: “Science and Innovation in a Time of Transformation”. Taking place on Monday October 30th between 3:30PM – 5:00PM EST, her seminar, entitled “Call to Action – Sustainable Design Leads to Better Science”, will advocate for sustainable design to be the future standard for laboratory and research facility work environments.
Carol will be joined by fellow industry leaders Dr. Annie Levasseur, Eng., Ph.D., Professor of Environmental Engineering in the Department of Construction Engineering at École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS), Dr. Ursula Eicker, Canada Excellence Research Chair (CERC) in Smart, Sustainable and Resilient Cities and Communities at Concordia University in Montreal, Duncan Retson, Associate Assistant Deputy Minister for Public Services and Procurement Canada, and Ted Kesik, Professor of Building Science at the University of Toronto’s John H. Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape and Design.
