Members of the Ontario Secondary Schools Teachers’ Federation (OSSTF) new Headquarters and Multi-Tenant Building project team visited the construction site earlier this month to view the progress firsthand!

The group gathered to celebrate the commencement of mass timber erection. Note the impressive structural members in the backdrop of this photo: this 9m x 9m perlin and beam system is used to provide the most cost effective and efficient use of timber for an office layout. Exterior walls and floor systems are constructed with CLT panels, while beams and columns are constructed with GLT.
