We had a fantastic day on July 21st, co-chairing the Facades+ Conference in Toronto! Leaders from Moriyama & Teshima Architects, including Carol Phillips, Cathy McMahon, Damineh Dehnadfar, Olivia Keung, Phil Silverstein, and Chris Ertsenian did a stellar job navigating the event’s schedule of proceedings by moderating panel discussions, delivering thought-provoking presentations, and contributing insightful commentary on pertinent issues related to façade innovation, architectural sustainability, and decolonization. The day was further complemented by the many guest speakers that graciously offered their time and expertise, joining both in-person and virtually from remote locations.
Thank you to everyone who took part. We are looking forward to the next opportunity to discuss important issues regarding climate change, and the AEC industry’s role to play in achieving the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.
