We were very happy to have taken representatives of Wood Works!, a program of the Canadian Wood Council (CWC), on a tour of the new Ontario Secondary School Teachers’ Federation Headquarters which is currently under construction in Toronto. The project team shared information on the overall design intent of this highly sustainable building, as well as the structural innovations that were implemented in its assembly. Through this guided tour, participants were able to gain a first-hand look at the major advancements under way, including the finalization of mass timber framing, curtain wall and feature stair installation progress, as well as the commencement of interior partition framing.
