Technological advancements are transforming industries, shaping economies, and influencing workflows. Sean Robbins, Associate and BIM Manager at Moriyama Teshima Architects, recently spoke on a panel during the Industry Summit on Construction Technology 2023, “The Future of Construction: Automation, Offsite & Field Technology”, led by Building Transformations (formerly canBIM) in Toronto.
His session, “Exploring Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Design and Construction”, focused on the ways in which AI is impacting the architecture, engineering, and construction industries, and how the workforce is preparing, adapting, and optimizing their workflows. Sean was joined by Markku Allison of Chandos Construction, George Ikonomakis of PCL Construction, and Scott Wolslager of IMAGINiT Technologies.
