The health and safety of our employees and our community is a top priority for Moriyama & Teshima Architects. In response to the rapidly unfolding COVID-19 pandemic, MTA has started a voluntary work from home strategy for our Toronto and Ottawa studios. Our employees are equipped to work remotely and they are reachable by email and telephone. In addition, all non-essential business travel has been postponed.

Our goal is to maintain our established business schedules during this turbulent time. We will be monitoring our workflow and we will communicate any schedule changes to our clients and team members as quickly as possible.

As we continue to monitor health updates from the Government of Canada and the Province of Ontario, we have implemented the following additional precautionary measures for our office:

• Mandatory Stay-at-home policy for staff who are feeling or exhibiting signs of illness
• Enhanced cleaning regime
• Suspension of all in-person meetings in favour of audio-visual conferencing
• Mandatory quarantine for staff returning from abroad
