Thank you to Canadian Architect for sharing our recent news regarding the Awitgati Indigenous Longhouse & Cultural Centre to be constructed in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Fathom Studio in joint venture with Moriyama & Teshima Architects have been selected to design this building – a state-of-the-art facility celebrating Indigenous peoples and culture. With Two Row Architect (TRA) and Wabanaki Tree Spirit, our team’s intent for this significant place is a highly sustainable, vibrant, interconnected facility that allows for intergenerational knowledge sharing.

This project is led by Under One Sky, a registered non-profit organization providing services, educating, advocating for, and empowering a healthy and proud Indigenous community. Read more about the thoughtful community programming planned for this building here.
