Join MTA Principal and sustainable design leader, Phil Silverstein at Passive House Canada’s virtual Prefab Symposium, “On the Rise”, where he will be presenting on the design, construction process, and sustainable efficiencies of Limberlost Place. Phil will be joined by Milos Begovic, Associate Principal with Acton Ostry Architects (our partner architecture firm for this revolutionary project), Lori O’Malley, Building Envelope Engineer with PCL, and Mohammed Dawould, Technical Development Manager with Ennova Façades. Together, they will speak on how this 10-storey, mass timber, net-zero carbon emissions academic facility, which is currently under construction at George Brown College’s waterfront campus, is setting a precedent for sustainable building design, composition, materiality, and assembly.
MTA is a proud sponsor of this online event, taking place between Wednesday September 21st and Friday September 23rd. Sign up today to join webinars throughout the 3 days, and visit participating teams’ virtual booths to learn more about their projects and initiatives.
