Moriyama Teshima Architects would like to thank everyone who has joined the effort to bring attention to the unnecessary closure of Ontario’s beloved Science Centre. We have received words of encouragement and offers of help from many members of the public, from the architecture and engineering industries, and from political circles—all in support of reopening the Ontario Science Centre as soon as possible. We now have enough specific and collective expertise to immediately assemble a unified team, all offering their services pro-bono, to tackle the needed roof repairs. Our next step will be reaching out to the provincial government and Infrastructure Ontario, as well as the City of Toronto to offer these collective services with the end goal of opening the OSC’s doors to the public once again.
We give our heartfelt thanks once again—the response has been overwhelming and we are filled with hope!
