OSSTF Published in Architectural Record Magazine

Happy World Architecture Day!

We are excited to celebrate by sharing that Architectural Record Magazine has published our recently completed, mass timber, Ontario Secondary School Teachers’ Federation (OSSTF) Headquarters and Multi-Tenant Commercial Building project!

The article, written by Matthew Marani, highlights the innovative and unique features of this office facility, such as the highly efficient envelope, the diagrid skylight structure, and the building’s relationship to the adjacent Don Valley Ravine landscape. The text positively reflects our firm’s commitment to creating environmentally responsible architecture while offering bright, open, and flexible places to work and convene.

“An organization like the OSSTF is a public entity, accountable to its union supporters, and has an obligation, especially in this environment of decreased funding, to promote the health and wellness of its employees and educators, and to secure the greatest value for money spent. Here we demonstrated that an ‘ordinary’ building, without massive risks, can change the narrative on what is achievable.”
