Limberlost Place, our mass timber project at George Brown College’s waterfront campus designed with Acton Ostry Architects Inc., has been featured by The Globe and Mail!
The article, entitled, “How a 10-Storey, Mass Timber Structure Serves as a Case Study for Commercial Buildings”, highlights how the building has redefined what sustainable architecture can achieve, through material choices, operational strategies, and carbon sequestration. As Ontario’s first institutional tall wood building, Limberlost Place represents a new standard for architecture that incorporates stunning design and innovation, while demonstrating the potential of mass timber to drastically reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
