Canadian Port of Entry at Gordie Howe International Border Crossing Construction 2024

As we wrap up 2024 and look back on the progress we’ve made across all our active projects, our team is in awe of the development seen at the construction site of the Gordie Howe International Bridge project in Windsor, Ontario, for which our firm is the Architect of Record for the Canadian Port of Entry (pictured).

The design of this 130 acre site seeks to provide a welcoming entry into our great nation, boosting civic pride through an admired landmark and new gateway symbol within the wider urban and regional context. Once complete, this port will be the largest Canadian land border crossing along the Canada-US border, and one of the largest anywhere in North America. The bridge itself, designed by AECOM, is an absolute marvel of engineering innovation.
