Last month, Moriyama Teshima Architects had the pleasure of leading the first tour of the 2025 TSA Building Tour season at Limberlost Place, the new ten-storey, low-carbon, mass timber academic building at George Brown College’s Waterfront Campus.
The Toronto Society of Architects hosted the sold-out event which was guided by MTA partners, Carol Phillips and Phil Silverstein, and George Brown College’s Nerys Rau. Together, they walked attendees through the building’s mass timber structure, light-filled learning spaces, and sustainability-focused design innovations.
Visitors explored classrooms, event spaces, and the multi-storey learning landscape while hearing how Limberlost Place is setting new benchmarks for low-carbon, future-focused academic architecture in Ontario.
A big thank you to TSA and all those who joined us for this behind-the-scenes look at one of our most ambitious and collaborative projects to date. Stay tuned for when tickets go on sale for TSA’s next tour of Limberlost Place, taking place this September!
