Moriyama & Teshima Architects and Smoke Architecture are proud to announce that our joint project, the Mukwa Waakaa’igan Indigenous Centre for Cultural Excellence has won a 2022 ReThinking the Future Award! This distinction recognizes architecture from across the globe, in a variety of typologies. Winner of the Concepts – Unbuilt Category, our project is set to open at Algoma University in Sault St. Marie, ON, in 2024.
