Clint Langevin Leads Bentway Project

Hats off to MTA Architect, Clint Langevin, who led 17 undergraduate students from University of Toronto John H. Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape and Design in a design-build workshop collaboration with The Bentway. The resulting project, completed over the summer of 2023, is entitled “Flippin’ Chill’” and is a set of modular furniture pieces that can be arranged for lounging, playing, or events.

“I love teaching the undergrad design-build, and it’s great to see Daniels offering this course to students early in their architecture studies. It’s so satisfying to see the students learn construction basics, work with a real client in a public space, and see the immediate impact of their design and labour in real life. The Bentway is a great partner that’s always pushing the boundaries of public space.”
