Limberlost Place Construction Site in July

Photographer Salina Kassam continues to capture the beauty of process at the construction site of Limberlost Place, Ontario’s first tall wood institutional building currently being erected at George Brown College’s waterfront campus. These photos show the forming and casting of Lower Level concrete shear walls and columns that will support the mass timber superstructure.

This project, a joint venture between Moriyama & Teshima Architects and Acton Ostry Architects, is already making a statement along Toronto’s lakeshore. We can’t wait to witness the next steps in the coming months, when timber structural elements are scheduled to be placed and erected.
