Limberlost Place in Canadian Architect Magazine May Issue

Be sure to get your hands on a copy of the May issue of Canadian Architect magazine, in which Limberlost Place, our mass timber project with Acton Ostry Architects Inc., is featured for having received the Royal Architectural Institute Of Canada (RAIC) Research & Innovation in Architecture Award!

“Limberlost Place is what architecture should be in Canada.”
– Official 2023 RAIC Awards Jury Comment

We are truly humbled by this momentous achievement. Members of the project team are currently in Calgary at the RAIC Conference, and were honoured with the prize at the awards ceremony yesterday evening. Limberlost Place is a highly sustainable, mass timber, net-zero carbon emissions institutional project under construction at George Brown College’s Waterfront Campus. This achievement would not have been possible without the ground-breaking studies completed by Fast + Epp – the structural engineers on the project, in addition to key contributions made by Transsolar KlimaEngineering, Introba, the University of Northern British Columbia (UNBC), and Beiberech University.
