Limberlost Place Team Signs Beam at the Building

These photos mark a significant moment for our Limberlost Place team. The talented MTA architects, technologists, and designers who have and continue to contribute to the success of this landmark project on Toronto’s waterfront, are pictured here signing their names on one of the large glulam beams – forever marking their place as part of what is to be one of the most innovative, sustainable, and impactful buildings in Canada.

This beam shows the many leaders in the who collectively brought Limberlost Place to fruition. We are so proud of our own staff, our joint venture firm, Acton Ostry Architects, and the team at PCL Construction. We extend our collective praise to all the talented subconsultants who have made integral and meaningful contributions to the design. Above all, we are grateful to our incredible client, George Brown College, for targeting a higher standard of sustainable architecture and pushing the widespread expectations of climate action in the building sector.

We’ve only just begun and we are looking forward to the next exciting milestone!
