Limberlost Place Wins RtF Sustainable Project of the Year Award

We are excited to announce that Limberlost Place, our highly sustainable, 10-storey, mass timber project designed with Acton Ostry Architects Inc., has earned the First Award for Sustainable Project of the Year (Concept) in this year’s Global Design & Architecture Design Awards (a program by Rethinking The Future)!

Limberlost Place, currently under construction at George Brown College’s Waterfront Campus, is a model for 21st century smart, sustainable, green building innovation. The 225,000 SF, net-zero carbon emissions building sets a precedent through its mass timber structural solution.

We share this win with our collaborating partners, Fast + Epp, Transsolar KlimaEngineering, Morrison Hershfield, Introba, Stantec, GHL Consultants Ltd, CHM Fire Consultants Ltd., Nordic Structures, and PCL Construction. Stay tuned for more exciting updates on this one of a kind project.
