MTA Sponsors ULI Event

Extending our thanks to the Urban Land Institute, who led a thought-provoking event on the rise of mass timber structures being erected within Toronto. “Mass Timber Renaissance? Taking Stock of Engineered Wood Construction in the GTA” took place last week, including a tour of 80 Atlantic Avenue (Toronto’s first timber-frame commercial building, completed in 2020 by BDP Quadrangle), a networking session, and a panel discussion moderated by Luigi Ferrara, Chair and CEO of the Brookfield Institute of Sustainability within Limberlost Place at George Brown College.

Moriyama Teshima Architects is proud to have been a sponsor. Pictured here, from left to right, are MTA’s Ronen Bauer, Mahsa Majidian, Deya Iskandarova, and Phil Silverstein. A fantastic time was had!
