We encourage you to join MTA sustainability leader Phil Silverstein at The Buildings Show on Thursday December 1st at the Toronto Metro Convention Centre. Phil, a Principal at the firm and the Project Manager on Limberlost Place, will be presenting on this joint project with Acton Ostry Architects currently under construction at George Brown College waterfront campus.
Located in Toronto’s East Bayside community, Limberlost Place is the first 10 storey mass timber institutional building to be constructed in Ontario. Phil will be presenting on this landmark project alongside PCL’s Lori O’Malley, Building Envelope Engineer, and Ennova Façade’s Mohammed Dawoud, Technical Development Manager, between 2:30PM and 4:00PM. This presentation, entitled “Prefabricated Facades for Tall Mass Timber Buildings”, will walk through the technical decisions, construction coordination, and technologies used to design and manufacture a high-performance prefabricated façade system.
