TEL Building Commended by York University Creative Alumni

As part of DesignTO Festival, York University is showcasing a collection of their esteemed alumni’s projects at the Centre for Film and Theatre. These exhibitions include work of some of the world’s leaders across the design industry. One of which was Marek Okon, Tokyo-based Creative Director and graduate of York’s Design Theory program, who spoke of the Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) Building at York University:

“I admired the architecture and the way natural light flooded the interior. It was the perfect place for creativity to flourish.”

TEL was completed by Moriyama & Teshima Architects in 2003, designed as a series of rich spatial experiences that underline York University and Seneca College’s commitment to active and collaborative learning experiences. It is an amazing feeling to discover how our buildings have inspired others in taking on creative challenges and pursuing their passions.
