Ten Years Since the Opening of the Entrepreneurship Centre at Saint Mary’s University

Ten years have passed since the opening of the Entrepreneurship Centre, then called the “North East Campus Project” at Saint Mary’s University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, designed by Moriyama Teshima Architects and Barrie and Langille Architects!

This landmark academic building and campus gateway offers over 29,000 sqft of classroom, meeting, and office space. The planning and design of this project anticipated and accommodated for continued campus growth, promoting the principles of the SMU Campus Master Plan. The Entrepreneurship Centre employed smart building practices to increase its performance metrics and level of sustainability, and earned LEED Silver Certification.
