Building Equity in Architecture (BEAT) Wins RAIC Advocate for Architecture Award

Congratulations to Building Equity in Architecture Toronto (BEAT), on earning the Advocate for Architecture Award in the 2024 Royal Architectural Institute of Canada Awards program! BEAT, founded in 2015 as a grassroots initiative to promote equity for women and historically marginalized people in the architecture profession, has consistently led community-building activities that foster advocacy, networking, and mentorship. Their mandate is to create lasting systemic and transformational change with purpose-driven action, openness, compassion, and respect.
