MTA Principal and sustainability champion Phil Silverstein did a stellar job speaking last week at The Buildings Show 2022. For an in-depth presentation on the prefabricated envelope system currently being installed at Limberlost Place, our project with Acton Ostry Architects at George Brown College’s Waterfront Campus in Toronto, Phil was joined by Lori O’Malley, Building Envelope Engineer at PCL Construction, and Mohammed Dawoud, Technical Development Manager at Ennova Façades.
Limberlost Place is targeting operational zero carbon, demonstrating a holistic commitment to the reduction of carbon emissions – its prefabricated envelope system is crucial to achieving these targets. This talk shone a light on the innovative ways in which the design, engineering, and construction teams worked together to create a highly efficient, holistically integrated, elegant solution.
Thank you to The Buildings Show organizers – We can’t wait for next year’s event!
