Sustainable Labs Canada, Centre for Urban Innovation Tour

Join MTA Partner Ronen Bauer and MTA Principal Phil Silverstein for Retro-Fitting and Forward-Thinking for Laboratories, an event led by Sustainable Labs Canada on Thursday October 6th. This session, co-presented by Moriyama & Teshima Architects, Crossey Engineering, and Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU), will explore the unique challenges and constraints associated with the addition of laboratories to existing buildings within an urban setting, while balancing sustainability goals, health, safety, and comfort expectations for occupants and the surrounding buildings.

The challenges and constraints will be exemplified by a case study of the Centre for Urban Innovation (CUI) at TMU. This will include a guided tour of the facility from 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM, located at 44 Gerrard Street East, and a live presentation, gala, and networking event at the Albany Club between 5:00 PM – 9:00PM, located at 91 King Street West.

Space for the tour is limited so it will be on a first-come, first-serve basis for all registrants. Do not miss out – register to attend next week’s event here.
