ULI Toronto Event on Mass Timber Construction

Do not miss the upcoming Urban Land Institute (ULI Toronto) event entitled “Mass Timber Renaissance? Taking Stock of Engineered Wood Construction in the GTA” on Thursday June 8th! The focus will be on the rise of mass timber structures being erected within Toronto, and what this means in the larger discussion on sustainable building practices, achieving climate action targets, and adapting public policy to suit.

The agenda for this exciting afternoon includes tours of 80 Atlantic Avenue (Toronto’s first timber-frame commercial building, completed in 2020 by BDP Quadrangle), a networking session, and a panel discussion moderated by Luigi Ferrara, Chair and CEO of the Brookfield Sustainability Institute within Limberlost Place at George Brown College.

We are proud to be sponsoring this forward thinking event! Register to attend here.
