MTA Partner, Carol Phillips, and Associate, Katie Weber, CPSM, attended the Fast Company Innovation by Design Honoree Celebration in New York City as part of their 2023 Festival. This gala was held to award finalists in the 11th annual Fast Company Innovation by Design Awards program, for which Limberlost Place (our mass timber, highly sustainable, building project designed with Acton Ostry Architects Inc. currently under construction at George Brown College) was distinguished in both the General Excellence and Urban Design categories.

Carol and Katie had an excellent time meeting various leaders in the design community, representing industries such as technology, life sciences, media and advertising, fashion, data, marketing, and economics. The pair enjoyed learning about the many world-changing projects originating from all over the globe. Congratulations to all recipients – we are so impressed and inspired by the work you are doing!
