Carol Phillips to Speak at World of Facades Conference in Toronto

Two weeks from today, MTA Partner Carol Phillips will be speaking at the 91st Annual World of Facades Conference – the first ever to be held in Toronto. This globally hosted event, which has attracted over 27,000 delegates across its 88 completed editions, provides a special opportunity for industry leaders to convene and share knowledge on new building façade technologies.

Carol will be presenting on mass timber design innovations, with Limberlost Place at George Brown College and the new Ontario Secondary School Teachers’ Federation Headquarters as focused case studies. Upon attending her lecture, you will have a greater understanding of carbon sequestration through strategic building design procedures, how Canada is at the forefront of sustainable material production and management, and the unique ways that architecture can raise the bar for environmental leadership into the coming decades.
