“Residential buildings in Toronto account for almost 60% of all buildings-related GHG emissions. That’s an enormous carbon impact, but beyond that, their design also highlights the critical connection between climate change, issues of affordability, and equitable city-building. I’m excited to be moderating a conversation at Facades+ with Kelsey Saunders (RDH Building Science), Stephen Teeple (Teeple Architects), and Arne Suraga (Diamond Schmitt Architects) about how our technical knowledge can give us agency as designers, builders, and owners, to tackle some of the biggest social challenges we face today, as well as the specific innovations that will drive the decarbonization of the buildings we live in.”
