A member of the MTA team since 2003, George brings exceptional experience, foresight, management skills, and most importantly, professionalism and client-focus to his projects. George demonstrates professionalism through exemplary leadership whereby the team’s potential is maximized. His strong intellectual abilities and out-of-the-box thinking has led to clarity and efficiency for projects such as the Humber College Student Welcome and Resource Centre, and the feasibility study for Saint Mary’s University Sobey School of Business Entrepreneurship Discovery & Innovation Hub project.
George’s longstanding commitment to client service and collaboration is evident in the successful execution of major projects like the Toronto Ismaili Centre, a $250 million spiritual and cultural complex, in collaboration with internationally acclaimed Indian architectural firm Charles Correa and Associates. He was recently the Project Manager for the Qatar Foundation Education City Masterplan Integrator project, home to branches of eight American, British, and French universities in Doha, Qatar.
George is currently Senior Architect and Project Manager for the Canadian Port of Entry (POE) at the Gordie Howe International Bridge and Border Crossing project. As part of the management team for this endeavour, he is responsible for the design, coordination, and production for the Canadian POE buildings.
