We are so thrilled at the success of the Urban Forum Mass Timber event which took place in Ottawa last week, featuring a presentation by MTA Partner Carol Phillips on mass timber architecture!
It was a packed house at the Arts Court Theatre where Carol delivered a comprehensive lecture on Limberlost Place, a project designed by Moriyama Teshima Architects and Acton Ostry Architects Inc. currently under construction at Toronto’s George Brown College’s waterfront campus. Limberlost Place, now the recipient of numerous accolades and awards, is a model for 21st century smart, sustainable, green building innovation throughout Canada.
Thank you to everyone who joined us, and we look forward to the next opportunity to share about the cutting-edge technologies and design practices our firm is applying to our work.
