MTA Co-Chairing Facades+ Conference in Toronto

Moriyama & Teshima Architects is thrilled to be co-chairing the upcoming Facades+ Conference being held in Toronto on Thursday, July 21st!

MTA’s Carol PhillipsPhil SilversteinChris Ertsenian and Cathy McMahon will be representing the firm as featured speakers, with Olivia Keung and Damineh Dehnadfar moderating panel discussions. Additionally, our team will be hosting a 3hr afternoon workshop on prefab envelope for tall mass timber buildings. For this, Limberlost Place, which is currently under construction at George Brown College, will be a featured project and case study. Themes to be explored during this conversation include embodied carbon standards, detailing of resilient and affordable housing, and the sustainable future of First Nations facades.
