Projects — Additions & Renovations — Conestoga College School of Hospitality & Culinary Arts
The Conestoga College School of Hospitality & Culinary Arts project is a four-storey addition and expansion to a former secondary school on the college’s North Campus in Waterloo. With the economic boom and rapid development of the Kitchener-Waterloo region, and the college building’s strategic location on University Avenue, the addition helps to establish Conestoga’s presence in the Waterloo area with an iconic gateway building that showcases Conestoga’s culinary and hospitality program to the passing public. Enhanced learning and applied research spaces expand the school’s Centre for Food Innovation and Hospitality Management, Centre for Advanced Learning, Information Technology, and create a centralized Access Hub that integrates the college’s programs and services such as academic upgrading, career services, and specialized services for new Canadians.
