Doors Open Toronto 2023 – What a success!

We welcomed nearly 1,200 visitors through our studio on Saturday, and were overwhelmed by the enthusiasm, interest, and positivity of all guests who stopped by. It was an incredible experience to engage with the public in a such a meaningful and personal way. Our team was able provide their insight on a many number of topics, including sustainable design and mass timber construction, the process of becoming an architect and what training is required, as well as innovative tools that are changing the landscape of architecture as a profession.

Special shout out to our talented presenters, Olivia Keung, Damineh Dehnadfar, Mahsa Majidian, Greg Perkins, Jay Zhao, Mary O’Malley, and Will Klassen, who robustly shared their expertise in architectural design, as well as Sean Robbins who manned a highly engaging interactive station on virtual building modelling. Thank you to all those who took the time to tour the MTA office, the pleasure was ours!
